- To provide core features — profile and resume tools, skills and learning content, roadmaps, and community/networking.
- To generate personalized suggestions, matches, and AI-assisted responses based on the information you provide.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app, and to diagnose technical issues.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates.
3 Third-party services and data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app, and only as needed to provide the service:
- Cloud hosting — our application backend is hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure (Render), which processes data in transit to deliver the service.
- Databases — your data is stored in managed database services (including Supabase and MongoDB) that we use to persist your account and app content.
- AI processing providers — to power AI-assisted features (such as suggestions, analysis, and generated responses), certain content you provide — which may include profile, resume, or query text — is transmitted to third-party AI providers (including Anthropic, OpenAI, and Groq) for processing. These providers process the data to return a result and under our agreements do not use it to train their models except as permitted by their terms.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.
4 Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
